Beachbody Summit 2015: Recap

This year’s Summit was amazing—as usual. It’s so hard to come back and think about all the takeaways I always have. Being a part of the Beachbody organization leaves me with such a sense of gratitude. I am just overwhelmed with thanks for everything this company has given me, my family and my team.

Beachbody and the people who run it and represent it all have the same mission—to help people achieve their goals and lead happy and healthy lives. I am proud to be a part of it.

It’s crazy to think about how it all started, with Carl and Jon who were just two guys who wanted to help people. They started by creating a fitness program that they could market on television to help people get healthier and happier. Each and every person involved in Beachbody since then plays a part in spreading this mission and being the CHANGE that is MAKING A DIFFERENCE.

The fitness trainers, the executive team, the coaches, the creators of Shakeology, the brand managers. I seriously get chills when I think about how my role as a coach is just as important as the vision of our CEO. Of course, without him we wouldn’t have a company. But you get what I mean.

You see, every day I get to share my experience and passion to help others find health and fitness solutions that work for them. And you know what? It feels good knowing that I can stand behind the products that Beachbody develops. They aren’t out to make a quick buck with scams or gimmicks. They sell real solutions and customers have to put in hard work and sweat to see the results they want.

As a coach, the MOST rewarding thing is receiving an email saying, “I am down seven pounds and hate to admit it but I haven’t even started working out yet. I am loving how Shakeology makes me feel and my daughter wants her own bag.”

The best feeling is being a part of a MOVEMENT to help people change—one person at a time—where every ONE matters.

This year’s Summit was the biggest yet (20,000 people!) and the energy all the coaches experience is something we bring back to our teams.

From super workouts to the release of Shaun T.’s Cize program to Autumn Calabrese’s new FIXATE cookbook to the announcement of the new Hammer and Chisel program in December. There’s always something new to look forward to. And I can’t wait to share it all with you!
