Happiness Project Roses

My Happiness Project

Single Rose, Daughter's HappinessI set out to make an impact today.  I decided to purchae a dozen roses and willingly observe the actions and people around me.  My intention was to share the roses with 12 different people and to hopefully spread some happiness.  I had no idea how or where the roses would go and what the outcome of this mission would be – but I decided if I touched at least one person all would be good.

This is a picture of the rose that went to my daughter.  I love the story behind it.  I showed up to pick her up from school and when she saw me waiting for her she came running up to me (in a way you can imagine a young energetic child does)  and said “Mom, are those flowers for me?”.  I said “YES” and handed her a rose.  She had the biggest smile on her face when I handed that rose to her.  I could tell she felt really special carrying it back to the car.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
