Ultimate Reset – Reboot
I’m sure this won’t come as a surprise to anyone that knows me (or reads this blog), but I’m a very results-oriented person. I want to know the goal, have a plan to get there and then go do the work.
Knowing that I had a cruise coming up and wanting to look and feel my best, I decided to do a reboot of the Ultimate Reset. You might remember that I’ve done this 21 day program before.
The Ultimate Reset can really help you if you’re feeling sluggish or tired all the time. And, when you’re on vacation, you want to be feeling full of energy to be able to experience all of the fun that’s waiting for you!
One of the key things that the Ultimate Reset does is reveal your food addictions. Mine was caffeine. I admit, the first week was a little rough, but that’s to be expected when you’re doing a major reset of your habits and getting back to a place of optimal health.
Week 2 I started to feel much more clarity and was waking up feeling rested. Being energized really helped my commitment to sticking with the program. Week 3 is cutting out grains and that’s always tougher, but because you prep your food and have the right foods available, it’s easier to avoid temptation and stay on track.
It can seem like a lot of extra work to have to do the prep parts, but in the long run, it makes things pretty convenient and it really helps keep things on track. And the results are very motivating, as well.
I have to say I was pleased when I compared my pictures from when I started the reset to where I was after a couple of weeks. Sometimes, when you see yourself every day, it’s hard to see progress. This is why taking the pictures when you start and then again along the way can be helpful. I lost 5 pounds in the first 12 days, so it was great to see initial results from committing to doing the work. I was able to stay on track, and ultimately lost 9 pounds total.
While I love my results and love sharing them with you, I’m also really excited about the clinical trial research that was recently released on the Ultimate Reset! Check it out…
