Recently Beachbody reformulated the Vegan Shakeology flavors to make them less gritty. I’ve been a fan of the vegan flavor despite their slightly more course texture, but I have to say that the new smoother texture is incredible! The vegan chocolate flavor has been boosted by adding more cacao and now it is MY FAVORITE Shakeology flavor of ALL (I like it even more than our most popular flavor, regular chocolate). I love that Shakeology is constantly improving. In addition to being smoother and more flavorful, the vegan flavors now use organic agave fruit powder (wholesome, non-GMO ingredient for those nutrition geeks out there) that adds the perfect amount of sweetness. Shakeology has always been very low in sugar, this upgrade lowered both the total sugar content slightly as well as the carbs.
